Social Activities

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings in the Church Centre Cafe area, 10 – 12 refreshments, and company or a listening ear.

Monday Mornings 10am-11:30am Toll Gavel Jigsaw Club

Monday afternoons, Woolly Wesleys in the Church Centre, 2-4pm which includes refreshments; crafting especially knitting and making blankets, including some for Open Doors refugee-support charity in Hull; board games; conversation or a listening ear. 2pm – 3:30pm Toll Gavel Jigsaw Club

Tuesday Lunch Club, fortnightly, 12.15 – 1.15pm. 2 course meal for £5. Organised by Circuit layworker alongside older people. Contact Christine on 01482 863558.

Wednesday lunchtime community lunch 11.30 – 1pm Light lunch for anyone, provided by volunteers from Churches Together in Beverley and Beverley Against Poverty volunteers. A listening ear is also available.

Saturday Coffee Morning, in the Hall, 10 – 11.30. Refreshments.

CHILDREN’S WORK ON SUNDAYS (during term time): 

First Week of the month we have a Church family breakfast in the hall from

9.30am when our ‘Butty Band’ play music.

Norwood Leisure Day – helpers needed

Leisure Day is a Circuit Club for the retired, which is held every Monday during term time at Norwood Church. If you could spare 3 hours or so on an occasional Monday morning and/or over lunch time, please contact Christine Milburn (phone 01482 863558) who will be pleased to give you more details. There are also vacancies for new members.

Beverley Singers meets Mondays in the hall, 1.30 – 3.30 pm

Beverley Male Voice Choir meets Mondays in the church, 7 – 9 pm

Tuesdays to Sing meets Tuesdays in the hall, 10 – 11 am
