CHILDREN’S WORK ON SUNDAYS (during term time):

First Week of the month we have a Church family breakfast in the hall from

9.30am when our ‘Butty Band’ play music and this is followed by Family Cafe from

10.30 to 11.30am.

Third Week: The Family Cafe is in the hall, doors open from 10.15am (no butties that week, but we do have snacks!)

Take yourselves directly through to the church hall on those weeks without coming into church. Children must be accompanied by adults.

Second and Fourth Weeks: There is a box of fun activities in the ladies’ cloakroom under the changing table which you can help yourself to and either take into church to do or stay in the entrance area and play with your adult accompanying you. Please return any toys or books after use.

Do  you have an event either at or involving Toll Gavel Church coming up? Send us an email and we’ll publicise it on our Events page for you – for free! Send an email to BeverleyCircuit@gmail.com

There may be lots to see so please scroll down the page to see all of the events.

Poppy Project

The Creative Ladies’ next project is knitting poppies for the Church Display in Toll Gavel on Remembrance Sunday, and also to make as a brooch to sell.  If you would like to join in, there is a very easy pattern.   The Ladies are also seeking black buttons to use for the centre of the poppy.   Please see Sally Knapp or Christine Milburn for further details.

Norwood Leisure Day – helpers needed

Leisure Day is a Circuit Club for the retired, which is held every Monday during term time at Norwood Church.  Sadly, we have lost several of our helpers recently and are looking for more volunteers to help in the kitchen preparing the light lunch and doing some washing up.  If you could spare 3 hours or so on an occasional Monday morning and/or over lunch time, please contact Christine Milburn (phone 863558) who will be pleased to give you more details. There are also vacancies for new members.

Family Café Hour

This has finished for the summer and will resume on Sunday 2nd September. During the summer, there is a box of activities to access and use during the services, which is kept under the changing table in the cloakroom leading off the entrance area of the church. Please ask a steward if you are unable to find it.
