Catering for play for ages ranging from 0-80, the Easter Stay and Play was applauded by everyone who came. Approximately 30 families of babies, toddlers and older children, Mums and Dads, Grannies and Grandads, all came along to the Easter Stay and Play to enjoy Easter crafts, games toys and even tattoos! All were enthusiastically tackled by attendees of all ages.
Organised by Toll Gavel’s Sunday Club team with Messy Mondays helpers and other church members coming along to help and join in the fun, the Easter Stay and Play was a bright and colourful morning in the packed Church Hall.
Families commented it was lovely to be able to go to a group where children of all ages were catered for, so they could Stay and Play together.
Two ladies who have not been to Toll gavel before arrived offering their help, too!
The morning finished with the Hokey Cokey and ‘He’s got the whole world in His hands’!
No charge was made for the event but families expressed how generous this event was as holidays can be expensive times. There was a donations tub, which had £26 in it which well-covered expenses!
The organisers and helpers had as much fun as the people who came. Will they be holding a Stay and Play event in the future? Watch this space!
